Pick a channel + a trigger emoji. React in Slack with that emoji to flag any message into a Notion database — captures the message, the full thread, and a back-link to Slack.
Every 5 minutes, AI Secretary polls the Slack channel you pick for messages that have a reaction matching your trigger emoji (default :notion:, but you can choose any — :bookmark:, :decision:, :bug:, etc.). For each newly-flagged message, AI Secretary creates a Notion database page with the message text as the title, the timestamp + author as properties, and a structured body that captures the full thread (parent + every reply, with timestamps + author IDs) and a Slack permalink for one-click navigation back to context. Bot messages and system messages are filtered out. Watermarked + deduplicated per install — the same message cannot be captured twice even if a second person adds the reaction later. Requires BOTH a connected Slack workspace and a connected Notion workspace. The bot must be invited to the source Slack channel before install, and the destination Notion database must be shared with the integration. The reactions:read scope is required — customers connected to Slack before today must reconnect to grant the new scope.
